Hey everyone! 🙂 How are you all doing?

First and foremost, I’d like to thank the lovely Icebreaker694 for tagging me for this awesome creation of hers! I love memes and use them way more frequently than socially acceptable… So I had a lot of fun doing this 🙂 Most of these memes are my own, too.

  1. Haha, what a fun post this one was 😂😂 I really had to laugh quite a lot at some of the memes on display here. The first one was especially hilarious 😂 Cool idea for a tag, and this really put a smile on my face while reading this. Great post! 😊

  2. That’s very creative, I like all your memes, I really don’t understand that book and page one. Btw, best of luck for the reading, it’s really tough. Keep reading. ☺️☺️☺️☺️

    1. Thank you! I’m not the creator of the tag but I really had tons of fun coming up with some of the memes and getting the others off the internet 🙂 The book and page one is just meant to be a “that’s obvious” kind of remark hahaha
Thank you, and I will! 😊

  3. This is such a fun tag! I agree that The Sister hood of the Travelling Pants is very relatable. At that time when I read it I had a group of 3 close girls friends and we each identified with one of the characters. We were so in love with that series. Makes me want to reread it!

    1. Indeed it is! Aaaww that’s awesome ❤ I didn't have that dynamic going on, but I did find each of the girls really relatable in various ways. Of course, this has changed over time but I still find myself wanting to reach out for those books too 🙂 I really need to read the last two, but I'm afraid I'll cry a lot hahaha
Definitely do it! I think revisiting such a beloved series will feel super nice 😊
And thank you so much for reading ❤

  4. Thanks so much for the tag Sophie, I’ve never seen this one but I have seen the memes online at one point or another so I think this is a really unique idea for a tag.
The only one of your picks I’ve actually read myself is Crown of Midnight, and oh that was an amazing book. I definitely binge read that one too! 😀 I have Everything Everything on my to-read list and I hope I’ll be able to get around to it soon, and hopefully I won’t spoil the ending for myself either. I’m glad that didn’t bother you when you read that book though.
Thanks again for the tag, I’ll try and get around to this one pretty soon-ish! 😀 ❤

    1. No problem, Beth 😊 It sure is, and I was really happy to be tagged for it because I love memes too hahaha
I didn’t actually read nor do I plan to read Everything, Everything. So that’s why I didn’t mind being spoiled. Otherwise, I would have been maaaad xD
I hope you enjoy it and definitely don’t get spoiled!! I hate when that happens… It can ruin any book for me. I definitely wouldn’t watch the trailer for the movie either, though. I felt like it gave too much away and basically told the whole story in under three minutes.
I’ll look forward to it! ❤ I'm really intrigued to find out what people come up with for their answers and, of course, their memes 😛

      Liked by 1 person

      1. Oh that’s good to hear, there’s nothing worse than being excited for a book, or even just having it on your to-read list, and then being spoiled for it.
Haven’t seen the trailer. I tend to avoid them and the films themselves until I’ve read the book.
I’ll try and come up with some good answers/memes for this one then! 😀 ❤

        Liked by 1 person

        1. Yeah, it really ruins my day… And it’s appalling how many spoilers people include in their posts! A simple tag might ruin about five books for me if I’m not careful. I wish bloggers would reflect on their content before posting… Granted, I may have done this before myself but I always, always try to at least include a warning, if absolutely necessary.
I’m glad you have that approach! I thought to myself “man, I’m glad I’m not planning to read this book because I’ve just spoiled myself two ways now” XD
And I’m sure your tag will be awesome, Beth! 😊 ❤

          Liked by 1 person

          1. I haven’t noticed it as much, but actually now you’ve mentioned about it in tags I feel like I need to keep an eye out on mine. I don’t think I’ve revealed anything major but I may have without realising it you know?
            Thanks Sophie! 😀 ❤

            Liked by 1 person

            1. Oh it’s okay, we all do it sometime 🙂 Just need to try and be a bit more careful from now on!
If I check on some of my older posts, I guess I might have done it too. I still get mad when I encounter them, though LOL
              You’re welcome, Beth! ❤

  5. Oh this tag is so awesome! Thanks for tagging me! I love memes they are so funny, they are even funnier when they are about books! And how can one not devour Crown of Midnight? It is epic!

  6. Great answers! I love the memes! My Sister’s Keeper was so sad… Oddly enough, I couldn’t get into To Kill a Mockingbird and Wuthering Heights. I tried both two or three times, but that was a while ago. Maybe now would be different?

I have yet to read any of the Sarah J. Maas books. I think what’s stopping me is the having to wait for the next one in the series, lol. If they were all out, then I think I would take that jump and grab the first one. 🙂

    Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thank you! 🙂 To Kill a Mockingbird was a very peculiar read for me… A child with an adult’s voice? Yeah, it was kind of weird. But, in time, I learned to appreciate it and actually think it left a lasting impression on me.
Wuthering Heights is my absolute favorite classic (maybe even book?) but I know it’s not for everyone. It’s very raw, with incredibly dislikable characters, destructible relationships and that gothic sort of feel many people don’t care much for.
You could try Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses series, as it’s already finished. I haven’t read it yet but I plan to do it soon 🙂 Her Throne of Glass series was really good in the beginning but I have mixed feelings about it now.
Thank you so much for reading! ❤

      1. No worries :). That’s good to hear about To Kill a Mockingbird. Maybe I wasn’t in the right state of mind when I tried before. I’ll try again at some point.

I might give Wuthering Heights another try, as well. I hear it’s good and I want to like it.

Hm…I’ll look into Maas’s other series. I do like when series is finished, so I’ll give it a look. Thank you for the recommendation! Thank you for another great post! 😀

        1. I really hope you enjoy TKaM and WH 🙂 I think they have very different but very fascinating atmospheres, and are able to pull the reader in effortlessly.
About ACOTAR, I guess we’ll both find out whether it’s worth the hype or not hahaha
You’re very welcome! Thank you for the lovely comments! 🙂 ❤

  7. Thanks for doing the tag! I loved all the memes! (The Demotivational one was my favorite. 😂) I like what you did with “Just the Little Things”, I didn’t realize that was the name of those memes! I think I once actually tried to find them for my original post, but didn’t really know what to call them. It all works out now!

    1. Thank you for tagging me! ^^ Hahaha I’m glad you enjoyed my choices 🙂 Yeah, I think you and I both learned something that day XD I kept seeing the memes around but I had no idea what they were called… I just found them hilarious!
Searching for them is a bit easier now, so I’m hoping it’ll help anyone who does this tag 🙂 Thanks again!

  9. That was super fun, what a brilliant tag! and thank you so much for tagging me… I bet I’m going to be way too many hours trying to find memes for this one 😀 hahah..
Wuthering Heights? This is one book I keep telling myself I have to give another go with… first time didn’t end well.. I’m hoping second time will fare better…

    1. Sorry for not replying sooner, Liz, but you were on my spam D:
Glad you liked this! ^^ And no problem whatsoever, I really hope you have fun with it ❤ (it did take me a while to come up with the memes… Like, a long while! But totally worth it 😛 )
Oh I know Wuthering Heights is not for everyone… It's funny how people either seem to hate it or love it, though, no in-between feelings XD I personally can re-read it every once or twice a year and still be fascinated. But even I can admit it's one of the most messed up books I've ever read. The style/narrative is very peculiar, too, which might not appeal to some.

      1. Oh no, I was in jail! 😀 thank you for rescuing me though 🙂 ❤

You really read it that often- Withering Heights? Dayum! 😀 Now I definitely want to set myself up for the challenge and try it again… hoping I may have matured a bit since I last read it 😉

        Liked by 1 person

        1. Hahaha no problem! 😉❤️
Yeah I do! Oh I don’t think it has anything to do with maturity, I read it for the first time when I was like fifteen I think. So it’s about taste more than anything else ☺️ Which also changes with time, anyway.
But I still hope you give it another chance! Hahaha and that you love it, of course 😉

  10. This was so much fun, Sophie! I loved those memes and they fit so perfectly with the questions. I keep forgetting that i really need to get back to Wuthering Heights, but I know how much you love it so I need to get back to it! And I feel like I’ve already read Everything, Everything with all the spoilers out there. Wonderful answers, Sophie, and thanks so much for the tag! ❤

    1. Glad you think so, Mandy! ^^ Hahaha no worries, it’s totally okay if you skip WH 😛 I don’t want you to force yourself to read it if you didn’t like it! I get it’s a very weird book XD
Thank you so much! ❤ And you're very welcome, darling! I look forward to your answers/memes 🙂

  11. I love your list! This definitely seems like a fun tag to do!
That is interesting that you feel that way about To Kill A Mockingbird. I’ve seen the play (waaaay back) and I remember liking it, so the book has been on my TBR for a while. I haven’t been reading much classics in the past while but thought that I’d get into it again 🙂
I like Everything Everything, I was forewarned that there is a crazy plot twist somewhere in there, but it still made me do a double take 🙂

By the way I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award!
    https://sophiexli.wordpress.com/2017/07/21/100-followers-and-the-versatile-blogger-award/
I would not be surprised at all if you’ve been already nominated for this before 🙂

    1. Thank you, Sophie! ❤ Oh, feel free to do it, it's quite a lot of fun 🙂
Yeah, I don't read too many classics either but that one was quite an interesting read. I might re-read it sometime.
I'm glad you weren't spoiled for Everything, Everything. Definitely a very odd, unexpected twist that made some people reeeally mad!
And thank you so much for nominating me! I have actually done this one already hahaha But I'm really happy you thought of me, means a lot! I'll check out your post soon 🙂

      Liked by 1 person

      1. Haha yes I’m still not quite sure how I feel about that twist at the end of Everything Everything. I can see how it makes people mad. At the same time, since I work in a hospital, I know that bubble boy disease is super rare (haven’t seen a case yet) while the alternative is actually more common. So I’m not sure if that makes the ending more realistic…?
I will keep this tag in mind for the future 🙂 And thank you for checking out my post 🙂

        1. I remember the first time I saw SCID in the media. It was that Bubble Boy movie with Jake Gyllenhaall. I’m glad it is now being portrayed a bit more seriously, though still missing the mark a bit.
I get the way it ended would have been more common but I understand it’s also a bit offensive to some people.
          And you’re very welcome! 🙂

          Liked by 1 person

          1. One day someone will get it right 🙂
Yes I can definitely see how the ending is not the most empowering to read for people who have SCID or another serious illness/disability, because they likely will not be able to escape it like Maddy did in the book

            Liked by 1 person

  12. Thank you for the tag! 😀 I love your meme choices! I’m with you on ‘Wuthering Heights’. It’s a classic and one I can reread time and time again. I love anything by the Brontes. I think ‘Jane Eyre’ is my favourite, though!

  13. Oh yay!!! Thanks so much for the tags! Memes get me weak in the knees. I can’t help but use them more than I should haha. This is such a fun one! Love your answers ❤ Wuthering Heights is pure perfection. I love that book so freaking much. I reread it almost every year that I first picked it up! About ten years ago when I was in middle school. Whoah. I'm old….Jesus. Anyways, my life was never the same after I read it LOL. And girl, yes, I binged Crown of Midnight, too! It was just so good. I seriously couldn't put it down. Finished it at 4 in the morning XD LOL.

    1. Hahaha glad you like it! I thought you would 😛
I know, right? Best. Book. In. Existence. I know people don’t like it very much but it was the first and only classic that really got to me with all its rawness and perversity (LOL that sounded so wrong but you get my drift XD ) So I totally know what you mean!
Hahaha I don’t doubt it! If only the sequels had been as good… *sigh*

      Liked by 1 person

      1. Memes are life haha. And isn’t it?! Wuthering Heights was one of my first classics and it’s, honestly, the only classic I need. Besides Pride and Prejudice haha
I haven’t read the rest of the TOG series just yet but I heard it kind of goes downhill after the third book? I really hope that’s not the case LOL

        Liked by 1 person

        1. Absolutely! Hahaha I definitely need to read P&P one day…
Eh, kinda, yeah. I’d say, personally for me, it did. But I’m a bit biased. You should give it a go if you feel like it. There’s tons of interesting stuff happening still, unfortunately, not without a lot of awful stuff happening at the same time too…

          Liked by 1 person

          1. YES! Please read P&P. It’s fantastic. And if you don’t wanna read it, then I recommend you watch the 1995 BBC series with Colin Firth. Pure gold. And really faithful to the novel.
Yeah, I heard something like that. I’ve already given the series a second chance. Didn’t like the first book, but read it again. Still didn’t like it but read on to the second book which was great, imo. Hope the third is good at least haha. I wanna love the series, but it has quite a few problems, it seems LOL. I’ll still give it a chance and see how I feel in the end. Might regret it in the end, but at least I tried LOL XD

            Liked by 1 person

            1. Hahaha we’ll both try then! 😉
I’ve never watched the BBC series, only the Keira Knightly movie. But I will, now!
I hope you enjoy the rest of the ToG series, if you manage to get that far XD My favorite will probably always be Crown of Midnight. I’m super excited for Tower of Dawn, though!

              Liked by 1 person

              1. I’ve actually never seen the Keira Knightly version haha. I really have to give it a chance LOL.
And I hope so, too! I’m actually really excited for Tower of Dawn as well. Don’t really know what has happened to Chaol after CoM, but I like him enough to buy a book about him!
