Seven Deadly Sins Book Tag

sevendeadlysins0

Hey guys, long weekend no see! 🙂

So a good while ago, I was tagged by three lovely bloggers:

Jannin @ The Book Nerd Dragon

Ava @ Reads, Rhythms and Ruminations

Icebreaker694

to do this tag and I finally got to it! Thank you so much, girls! ❤

It’s short and sweet and I hope you guys enjoy reading it 🙂

GREED

What is your most inexpensive book? What is your most expensive book?

My most inexpensive book is Obsidian Blade by Morgan Rhodes. And my most expensive is probably A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms by George R.R. Martin.

WRATH

What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?

I will have to go with Sarah J. Maas. I loved the first Throne of Glass book, loved the second one even more but it totally went downhill from there and it’s pretty upsetting what she’s done to some of my favorite characters and pairings.

Although (if the TV show is any indication), once I actually get to read ASOIAF, George R.R. Martin will probably take the spot.

GLUTTONY

What book have you devoured over and over with no shame?

Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, of course!

SLOTH

What book have you neglected reading due to laziness?

The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. It has such stellar reviews but it’s so enormous!

PRIDE

What book do you talk about in order to sound like an intelligent reader?

Ancient Greek literature, maybe? If I ever did want to do that, that is.

LUST

What attributes do you find attractive in male or female characters?

I really enjoy sassy characters. They’re such a blast. Also, characters that have some sort of confidence to them, that are brave and unapologetic, that fight for what they believe in. Finally, unlikeable characters. They are usually incredibly flawed and just so interesting it’s impossible not to be fascinated.

ENVY

What book would you like to receive as a gift?

I think anything from my TBR would be quite nice 😛

I TAG:

And that’s it! As always, no pressure to do this tag, especially if you’ve done it already.

Thank you so much for reading and until next time!

    1. Hahaha they are the best! I honestly can’t read a book unless it has at least ONE sassy character (or more, preferably always more!)
You might not like it, a lot of people don’t, but at least you’ll rest your soul knowing you’ve tried XD Though I really hope you do love it, because it’s my favorite book of all time and I need more people to fangirl with XD
Thanks so much, Mandy! Feel free to do it 🙂 I just don’t want to keep tagging the same people over and over in case they get tired of it hahaha

  1. I loved The Name of the Wind, but it’s probably a good thing I’ve been putting it off; it’s been taking him FOREVER to publish each book!

    1. God, I hate that! I always end up either forgetting about the previous installments and/or losing interest in the story… So yeah, it might have been a good thing to have waited until now.
There’s not even a publishing date set for the third book! Man. I get that amazing things take time but that’s just disheartening.
Thank you so much for reading and commenting, Ryann! 🙂 ❤

  2. Great post, Sophie! Thanks for the shout out. Sarah J Maas is definitely a love hate kind of author. Sassy characters are the best! Flawed characters are always intriguing aren’t they? Loved your answers. 😊

  3. I’m going to have to add this to my never-ending list of book tags I want to do! I feel like that all I keep doing on my page XD

    1. Thank you so much, Krysti! ❤ Oh, me too 😦 I used to be obsessed with that series! Seriously, I absolutely loved it. And then it just got progressively worse. I still want to finish it, of course, but I have no expectations anymore.
We have that in common! And I would totally not mind if she did. Better him than you-know-who.

  4. The Name of the Wind book, I have only heard it recently. I think you might be the third person mentioning it. Is it as huge as Game of Thrones? I’m glad you pointed out a classic Wuthering Heights as a book you could read many times. I have to make time to read it this year 😊 Love your answers Sophie!

  5. Oh look, another tag I must do in order to avoid doing anything productive. 😉

This looks like fun! I love your choices. Unlikable characters are some of my favorites, too. 😀

  6. Wouu!! Nice answers!! I too want to red The Name of the Wind REAL, REAL soon!!!! I keep on telling myself I have to read it next, but I never do! The fact that it’s HUGE too, does not help! Then again, if it has so many 5 star reviews, I feel like the length is something we’re going to end up being grateful for! 😛 Thank you so much for the tag! 😉

    1. Thanks, Lashaan! 🙂 Oh I’m in the exact same boat… It looks amazing but it’s huge and… Ugh it looks so awesome! But then I get super intimidated by it… It’s a never ending rollercoaster of emotions XD
I definitely feel the same way so we need to give it a try! Let’s do it! 😉
And no problem, I hope you enjoy it ^^
