What was your favourite book cliffhanger within a series?

The Fearless Travelers’ Guide to Wicked Places. It had so many suspenseful moments and twists, I kept holding my breath in anticipation.

The Penryn and The End of Days series had a few heartbreaking moments that did make my vision a bit blurry.

Brexit

Name a book you have an unpopular opinion towards

Fangirl. I just didn’t connect with Cat at all and found her honestly quite annoying. I enjoyed the other characters and there were some nice moments but overall it was a pretty boring read for me.

Four new elements discovered in the periodic table

Name an author you discovered/read for the first time this year

Amanda Sun. I read her entire Paper Gods series last year and really liked it!

Your favourite diverse read

Ink and Bone was pretty diverse when it came to characters’ nationalities and also had at least one non-heterosexual relationship. I’m still debating whether those were accurate depictions or stereotypical ones, though.

Name a memorable character death

The Falling Kingdoms series had a lot of deaths that made me either mad or heartbroken. I won’t mention which ones they were but you probably know if you’ve read the series thus far.

The Grisha series! Even though there were many other great choices too.
